Mobile measurement point

The most modern mobile measurement point measuring air quality today (28.12.2011) is put into official use in the municipality of Oslomej. It, symbolically, put in function Mayor of Oslomej Fatmir Dehari and the Manager of the Centre for Development of the South-west planning region, Mirjana Lozanoska. With this air will be monitored throughout the day, so that residents of Oslomej will be informed for the presence of particles or dust and sulfur dioxide in the air

Mayor of Oslomej, Fatmir Dehari expressed satisfaction with the installation of the measuring point for monitoring of air, in terms of more common reactions from all residents of this municipality for the work of TEC Oslomej, which is mentioned as a potential pollutant of the environment. Dehari expected that now will receive relevant information on conditions in the air, which is a prerequisite to take effective measures to solve the problem of pollution of air, water and soil.

Manager of the Centre for Development, Mirjana Lozanoska said that the measuring station which is part of regional projects will be used to prepare a study on air quality in 13 municipalities across the region.

Funds amounting to around 2.5 million denars for the purchase of the measuring point are provided by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in support of the planning regions, and service equipment is "Pharmachem" from Skopje.
