Network for inclusive regional development

Struga, December 29th 2016 In Struga, in Hotel Mirage, was held a constitutive meeting of the Network for Inclusive Regional Development of the Southwest planning region, in response to the challenge of achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Regional Development, with the main focus being on Economic development of rural areas in SWPR. The President of the network is elected Mirjana Lozanoska, manager of the Centre for development, and the vice president Aleksandar Jovanoski, from cluster Eden.

 

In the working part, besides the memebers of the network, took part and Biljana Cvetanovska-Gugovska, state secretary at the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Aneta Dimovska, state secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Igor Trajkoski, President of the Council for Development of the Southwest planning region. It was pointed out that with the establishment of the network, it is expected, to be improved the implementation of the applied decentralization policies related to rural areas and settlements. In other words, the network for inclusive development will provide support to the municipalities and other stakeholders (NGOs, economic operators, chambers of commerce, tour operators, associations of tourist workers, etc.) in the Southwest planning region for more efficient and effective management of rural development.

 

The network includes the public, private and non-governmental sector, which, as relevant stakeholders will help economic renewal and development of rural areas in the Southwest planning region.

On the meeting were adopted the Rules of Procedure of the Network for inclusive development.
