Reconstruction of kindergarten

Within the ceremonies on the occasion of November 7th, the day of the liberation of Ohrid, yesterday, with a ceremony, the mayor of the Municipality, Nikola Bakracheski, put into operation the reconstructed object from the central kindergarten Jasna Risteska.

-The object of the kindergarten was built in 1972, and no major reconstructions have been performed so far. The roof was made of an aluminum construction that had a lot of soak, the facade from the gypsum brick, it was an energy-inefficient object that without it was very difficult to heat up during the winter so some additional heating sources had to be used to achieve an optimal temperature for the premises in Who raise children and work the employees. An important part of this was the outdated and worn wooden carpentry which has not been reconstructed for 20 years, and the sanitary facilities were in disastrous condition. For this purpose, together with the Center for Development of the South-west planning region, we defined as a priority for this year to be the reconstruction of this kindergarten as part of the program for building energy efficient buildings, and I believe that we did not make a mistake and made the best choice, said Mayor Nikola Bakraceski At the ceremony.

The ultimate goal of the ventures is to reduce operating costs, especially in the part of heating o the building, through consumption, in the concrete case, of fossil fuels. In order to achieve all of this, in this public building, a number of interventions of the roof construction were carried out, through the replacement of the old carpentry with new PVC doors and windows, the sanitary facilities were sanitized, and finally the entire building got a new thermal insulation facade.

- On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that the funds for the reconstruction were separated by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, from the national budget through the programs for balanced regional development of the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development, said Mirjana Lozanoska, Manager of the Center for Development of the Southwest planning region, thanking the Mayor Bakracheski and the local authority for support in the operation.

The activities in the kindergarten in Ohrid are part of the regional project "Performance of energy efficient buildings in the Southwest planning region", approved by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, through the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development, which is realized by the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, in close cooperation with the municipalities. The total amount of the project is 16.4 million denars, and the interventions in Ohrid cost 3.5 million denars.

Performers of the works were City Logistics from Skopje and the subcontractor Tane 2007 from Ohrid, who completed the planned activities in the kindergarten in Ohrid within the agreed deadline.
