Open day for EE in Struga

Within the project "Increasing energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources in the cross-border region", on 07.08.2014 in Struga, from 11 to 15 pm, a special stand was set up outside the hotel Belgrade, in the Old Town, citizens had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of using renewable energy sources and energy efficiency through free engineering advices and promotional materials.

This open day is the first series of open days which will take place during July as part of this project. After the open day in Struga follow two of that kind, one in Debar and one in Ohrid. The events are part of the second project activity to promote energy efficiency and use of renewable sources in the Southwest planning region of Macedonia.

The event is organized by the Center for Energy Efficiency of Macedonia - MACEF and Center for development of the South-west planning region, and supported by the Municipality of Struga.

The project is funded by the European Union as part of the IPA cross-border cooperation between Macedonia and Albania. Lead Partner of the project is "Center for Energy Efficiency of Macedonia - MACEF" in partnership with "Centre for development of South-west plannig region" of the Republic of Macedonia and "Albania-EU Energy Efficiency Centre" and the Regional Council of Korca from Republic of Albania.
